The boreal region can just be found in the north of Scandinavia with typical landscape types like forest-tundra and boreal forests. Through the cold climate up there, the diversity gets pretty low but interesting. The highly adapted animals through this region are real survival specialists and can just live there through the annual migrations process or specific feeding/sleeping tactics for the winter. Since the herpetofauna of this region is pretty low, I am not getting to enjoy this beautiful landscape and fauna very often. Hopefully, I can add some more images soon!
